Interim vs Full Service: What’s the Difference (and Which Do You Need)?

"Service" isn't a one-size-fits-all job, and knowing the difference can save you both money and unnecessary trips to the garage.

An interim service is your six-month or 6,000-mile check-up — oil and filter change, fluid top-ups, tyre and brake inspection. It's designed to catch small issues early and keep your car running smoothly between bigger services.

A full service goes deeper — typically annual or every 12,000 miles — covering everything in the interim, plus spark plugs, air filters, brake fluid, and a much more thorough inspection under the bonnet and underneath the car.

Not sure which one your car is due? Check your service book or give us a call — we'll look up your make and model's recommended schedule and tell you exactly what's needed, with no upselling.
